Common Admission Test CAT 2023 

The Indian Institutes of Management will conduct a computer-based Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023 on Sunday, November 26, 2023 in two sessions.

CAT 2023 will be conducted by IIMs as a pre-requisite for admission to various management programmes of IIMs.

CAT 2023 will be conducted on November 26, 2023 (Sunday) in three sessions.

Registration for CAT 2023 will open on August 2, 2023 and will close on September 13, 2023.

CAT 2023 will be conducted in test centres spread across approximately 158 cities.  

Important CAT Dates 

CAT 2023 Registration Starts : 2nd AUGUST 2023, Wednesday at 10:00 AM
CAT 2023 Registration Ends : 13th SEPTEMBER 2023, Wednesday at 5:00 PM
CAT 2023 Admit Card Download Begins : 25th OCTOBER 2023, Wednesday at 5:00 PM
CAT 2023 Test Day : 26th NOVEMBER, 2023, Sunday 

CAT 2023 Result declaration : Second week of January,2024 (Tentative) 

The CAT 2023 details will be available in the registration guide. At the time of registration, the candidates have to select any SIX Test Cities as per their preference from the drop down menu.

After the last date of registration, candidates will be allotted one among the 6 preferred cities and either of the two sessions.  The candidates can download the CAT admit cards from 25th October, 2023 till 26th November, 2023    

PAYMENT OF CAT 2023 REGISTRATION FEE :  

Rs. 1200 for SC, ST and PwD category candidates.
Rs. 2400 for all other categories of candidates.

Please note that a CAT candidate needs to pay registration fee only once, irrespective of the number of institutes he/she is applying for SC, ST and PwD candidates must upload a copy of their SC/ST/PwD certificates at the time of registration. Fee once  paid cannot be refunded under any circumstances. 

CAT Candidates must pay the registration fee through online payment modes only, which will include credit cards, debit cards and netbanking.
